I’m an early-career reporter currently covering higher ed for the Missoulian. My journey here began at the University of Chicago. During my time there, I served as Co-Editor-in-Chief of the Gate, our student political review, interned at the Pulitzer Center on Crisis Reporting, and interviewed guests at the International House lecture and performing arts center. These experiences – along with taking classes in Turkey and completing an oral history project in Chile – sparked my interest in journalism. Since completing my UChicago history degree in December 2016, I interned at the Christian Science Monitor, and completed a Pulitzer Center-funded project on the US-Mexico border
In September 2017, I moved to “Big Sky Country” and began covering politics and environmental issues for the Daily Inter Lake, based out of Kalispell,. In May 2018, I moved to the Missoulian, where I covered first the greater Flathead Valley and then the University of Montana. There’s rarely been a slow moment on either of these beats.
